Etsy Shop Update (Hint: It’ll be Here Next Week!)
If you guys have been following along on the blog’s Facebook and Instagram (you better be) then you know that I have been working on opening an Etsy shop!!
It’s something that I have wanted to do since I first launched the blog, and I’m so excited that it’s finally happening!
I’ve been creating paintings for a long time, so I had a good base of material for the shop. The problem was finding the time to photograph, edit and create the listings. Since I couldn’t seem to find the time I kept putting it off and putting it off.
Then it hit me one day, that if I actually want to make money from the blog and from an Etsy shop, then I need to focus on the things that are actually going to make me money. With that thought in my head, I took time on a Tuesday night and shot all of the pieces that I had painted so far. This past weekend, they all got edited and I’ve made the listings!
I’m really excited that I’m finally starting to see some progress for the shop, and I hope you are too!
The Etsy shop is going to launch next Tuesday, April 26th!
It’s just in time to buy some new prints for your home to give it a fresh spring update.
To start off, I’m going to be selling digital prints, as well as some originals. The prints of my originals will come later when I’m able to focus more time on producing quality prints and have the time to ship them out!
To start off, the Etsy shop will include a selection of my watercolour and gouache prints. Some of them you may recognize from the blog, as I’ve posted a few of the series here in the past!
Here’s a little preview of some of the things that will be in the shop so you can start planning where you’re going to put them 😉
The Shoe Series
Watercolour Perfume Bottles
Gouache Geometric Crystals
I will have the originals of some of these pieces up for sale. The watercolour perfume bottle originals are all up for grabs. So far there are 4 of them, but I may expand the collection depending on how they do! The agate slices currently hang in our bathroom, so only the purple original is available. Digital prints of the rest of the colours will be available for now! I really enjoyed painting the agate slices, so I’m looking forward to expanding the colour selection of those pieces.
There are also a couple of the Gouache crystal originals that will be available and I’m working on more hexagons too!
My dream is to be able to have my scrap geometric pillows available soon. Ideally I want to turn them into pillow covers so it would be less expensive and shipping would be a lot easier!
Because I’m trying to commit more time to the Etsy shop on top of having a full time job, I may be posting a bit less on the blog. Not to worry though, I still have a lot of good posts coming up for you guys including some adorable cakes for Spring / Mother’s Day, more photography backdrops (think marble!) and some sewing tutorials!
I’d love to know what you guys think of the prints that I’ll be offering so far. Also feel free to tell me what you’d love to see more of. P.s I’m also offering custom work on my Etsy shop, so feel free to contact me for that!
Thank you so much to everyone for their support so far on the blog and your continued support going forward with the Etsy shop!

I’ve only ever bought a few pieces of unique, handmade yoga jewelry from Etsy, but I love the platform because it allows creative and incredibly talented people to bring their wares to the masses. Good luck with your shop, and I hope to see it live!
I completely agree Rica! I love being able to buy personal handmade products directly from the person who made them. Thank you so much 🙂
