Angean’s 1 Year Blog Anniversary!

As I’m writing this I’m completely shocked to say that today is Angean’s 1 year Blog Anniversary!First of all, if you’ve been with me from the beginning (when the blog wasn’t so great) then thank you oh so much! Even if you came in somewhere throughout the year, you still deserve a big thank you for reading the blog! I’m so grateful that there are people out there who actually enjoy reading my blog and have maybe attempted to make something from one of my posts. Nothing makes me happier than hearing or seeing the result of someone who loves something that they’ve made using my blog post as a guide.

I’m really happy with what the blog has become in the last year, and I can’t wait to see it grow even more. My goal was to turn it into my full time job by this time. When I first declared  that it would be my full time job, I had no idea just how hard that would be, especially since I didn’t start publicizing my blog until October. I now realize that it’s going to take a lot more hard work, but that I will get there eventually.

For a little while there, I was thinking of expanding the blog to fill a wider range of categories. I then realized that I probably don’t know enough about health, beauty or travel guides to be able to offer you guys quality content. So,  I’ve decided that the blog is going to keep it’s focus on DIY projects and recipes. I want people to able to identify the angean brand with those two categories and hope to be the go-to blog when you’re looking for that kind of inspiration!

Second of all, I think that I deserve some cake to celebrate angean’s 1 year blog anniversary. I would love to be able to make myself these mini speckled egg cakes that I shared a few weeks ago, but unfortunately I don’t have 6 hours to spare today ;). Therefore, I think I will celebrate by buying myself some macarons on my break!

The below macarons are from Delysees, but there is a shop just up the street from work where I’ll get myself a sweet treat 🙂

So, again, thank you so much to everyone who’s supported the blog over the last year!
